How does it work?
Getting started couldn’t be easier. Simply choose the course and complete an application form.
Which programmes are supported?
GMTT will provide a financial contribution for a wide range of training and development provided by recognised training providers. A list of current approved courses and providers can be found here but GMTT is prepared to consider any training proposal from other sources. Funds will generally be directed at short term programmes running for typically a few days, though longer term programmes will also be considered.
How much funding is available?
All applications are considered individually however we would normally expect to award up to 30% of the training costs (excluding VAT) up to a maximum of £500 for each course undertaken.
What is required of me?
We expect every employer or individual to fully commit to completing their training programme. We also require that the training is relevant to an individual's personal development and is agreed by their employer.
Applications must be submitted in advance of any training commencing, and funding will be released on completion of courses.
